I started lecturing on contact lenses and supervising the second year contact lens practicals in 1997. I have supervised two CL related PhD projects, one assessing ocular optics in keratoconus with and without contact lenses, the other investigating the effect of ocular lubricants on vision.

Student projects

• Promotion / advertising plan for the Cardiff University Contact Lens Clinic to introduce more patients to the clinic

• Production of a teaching video + written material on a contact lens related subject for CAL
• Questionnaire on the attitudes towards and usage of SiH lenses by the South Wales contact lens fitters at the end of 2002
